| EL-KA: Sessions 2014 |

Hi,
in July 2014 we (EL-KA = HaJo Liese + Till Kopper) met for some sessions in Tübingen. We recorded each track in one go live onto two stereo tracks. They were not intended to be released. We just enjoyed playing these sessions. We had no concept. We just had some sounds and sequence and started playing. And we never tried to recreate one take, as we could never be able to play the same notes with the same sounds again.
Because of this improvising, the recording levels in our two submixers were never perfect. So these recording have some distortion on some instruments. Sorry.
So we are just asking for 1 € + VAT. You can pre-listen these in full length.

The new release contains the ambient compositional DNA of Temenos(the debut) entwined in natural soundscapes, textured synthesizer passages & peripheral percussion...Channeling the calm, elusive, lucid feelings of immersing one's self into the natural realms. The "essence" of just being there...
Recorded with old PCM and V/A synthesizer instruments from the 1980s & 90s.

1. IF I HAVE NOT LOVE - The Wedding Concert
This is a FREE download (there's also a CD-r edition available).
It's a studio recording of my second ever concert back in 2009, at the wedding party of two good friends. I had composed the music especially for this event. On two tracks, the wonderful Cilia di Ponte joined me on vocals (she also co-wrote the title tracks).
It's a rather accessible album, chill-out with touches of ambient and a few slightly more dramatic moments (relatively speaking). It also contains the cover version of an 80s pop song as a hidden track (comes only with the download).
My old pal Andreas Schwietzke once more provided the marvellous artwork!

2. Le Jardin Oublié
This is the re-release of a beautiful ambient album recorded in 2009 and released in 2013 on the net label Ancient Languges Records. I think it went mostly under the radar, at least I never heard back from the label.
I thought it was about time to claim it back - and it seemed suitable to do it now, because it has one track in common with the wedding album...

Hi everybody, I missed sharing my latest score that I made for a documentary tiled 'Ocean' courtesy by TheCueTube.
For this project I decided to use electronic instruments again, after spending a lot of time with orchestral instruments.
So considering that electronic music, was the kind of instrument that I started with in my career, I therefore had a lot of fun making this piece for this occasion. Brian Vassallo
