The Two For Green is a collaboration between Walter and Herwig Duchateaux (ex Scooter drummer), a project as well as a conceptual series of albums with Ethnic influences.
These are not another Enimga or Deep Forrest commercial themes.
The complex arrangements do not stray from the electronic music genre, lush symphonic themes with occasional Blade Runner like atmospheres are best appreciated after several listens.
The album was recorded in 1996 and is now available for the first time on MusicZeit as mp3 and flac downloads.

So far, so good ... time for episode 77, and while Schallwelle is still in my head (and on this show), there also is new exciting music inside as well. We start of with a very well known track being the title theme for the famous radio show "Schwingungen" by moderator legend Winfrid Trenkler. The artist is none other than Ashra drummer Harald Grosskopf. Moreover, tracks from brand new albums by the Ambient Circle and Harald Nies as well as magnificient music by Level Pi, Pyramid Peak, and Wim.

| "EM" - What is in a name? |

Some of you may be familiar with the discography site discogs which catalogues music and attempts to neatly pigeonhole it in the process. It started out as a dance music oriented site with other genres a more recent inclusion. Save for "mainstream" artists such as TD or JMJ not much EM was added until fairly recently. The website operates according to a number of predefined styles which can be chosen from when adding information to the database, and these styles have not evolved together with the musical content they are now used to describe.
As of today, ambient music is well catered for with variants such as drone and dark ambient but typical melodic EM is currently out of love and is catalogued as "ambient, electro", "ambient, new age" and so on. We of course don't have access to Berlin School or anything that detailed.

Recently, Cadenced Haven got signed at Groove. For those who are not familiair with this name: CH is a young artist coming from Bangladesh.
The style of her music could be best described as a combination of ambient like melodies with rather modern sounding rhythms.
I've mixed and mastered her album and am involved in 5 tracks, playing keys and made some sequences.
