If I'm not mistaken Seven Days by Stephan Whitlan and Ron Boots was released last Saturday. Has anyone already listened to the album, and if so, what's your opinion?

The cover is quite ugly I think (like most recent Groove releases). Hopefully the music is better. Wink

it was indeed launched at Groove's New Year's party last weekend.
Didn't yet investigate the cd but their concert was dynamic and catchy with lots of Whitlian moog solo sounds & pulsating sequencing along some fresh ingredients thrown...."Morning Flight" & "Slab" both have a great kick!

I was there to, and for me the first part of "Slab" was the winner, that sequence in the beginning took me some light-years away!

And of course I liked the setup of Stephan, Prophet 5, old Minimoog and the D50.

I have Seven Days and quite like it.
Nothing spectacular,just good solid EM.
Nice solos from Whitlan.
Good solid back beat from Ron too.
All in all a very good listen and I will listen often.

Finally getting some time to have a really good listen to it witn my new headphones.

First track "In Traffic" is little over 20 minutes long.
The final track "Slab" is little under 18 minutes.

I like these longer tracks the most. Both tracks mix Ron Boots' style best with Stephan Whitlan's excellent keyboard skills.

The other 3 tracks don't work for me.

Like the title explains, it took them seven days to record this release.
Still a relieve that there are 2 nice pieces of music on it...

I am currently getting ready to launch my personal website dedicated to EM.
I still have to build my "Contact" page.

If anyone is interested I could try to include some snippets from this CD.
Just let me know....PM is preferred!

You´re welcome!

The rips have been made.
Now, I just need some time to embed some material in a post or webpage.
