Hi all!
I'm thinking about not pressing any new CD:s but rather release old and new albums as downloads (for a reasonable fee).
Please recommend a good site for this!

Thanks!

Bandcamp Wink

Eric, I've only ever heard your music on You Tube, but very much enjoyed what I heard,
so I'd welcome some of your music becoming available, even if it's download only.

As said Bandcamp is a good place for this... Very Happy

Was looking forward to that, for a long time!

Best option could very well be Bandcamp IMHO

Downloads can be done in several formats (whichever your fan prefers)

FLAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV and AIFF and MP3 V0 or MP3 320

You can create a subscription channel if your in need of a steady fan base (and perhaps income)

Nowadays it is also very easy for artists to contact their fan base through targeted e-mail.

There are some limitations for artists:
- WAV/AIFF/FLAC upload requirement
- maximum upload size starts at 291 MB per track and after sales it increases to 600 MB per track

This post, is NOT at all trying to be complete (so, please check Bandcamp rules and regulations)

Indeed, Bandcamp appear to have got it just about right in terms of a platform for independent artists.

Looking forward to hearing some of your work Eric G

Bandcamp is the place. You can also consider DistroKid which will take care of your music on the streaming sites.

CDs are out of fashion. 80% of my sales are digital downloads.

Welcome to Bandcamp, its my main source for music buying these days. Love your albums, so these are highly recommended from my point of view. Have to say you found a very reasonable price for these. Hope they are successful in selling.

I am also in possession of the physical versions of your albums so ticked off on following you so hope for an email saying a new album is available sometime in 2018 Smile
