I like his work with Mr Mister and Cock Robin in the 80s.

I've recently read in an interview that he was involved in that; I have to admit that it's not exactly my cup of tea and I'm rather happy that he moved on to other projects. He seems to be still very fond of Mr Mister, though...

As I recall all 3 of these Jarre albums caused something of a divide amongst the fans when they were released,
with some people regarding the first two as being too modern/dancy,
and the latter as being too far removed from the original Oxygene.

Personally, while they're not exactly his finest hour,
I like all 3 of them.... Wink

Baumann's Machines of Desire was a very pleasant surprise when I first heard it...
Very minimal, uncluttered, and almost as if we were back in the 70's.
This one could literally have been recorded the month after he recorded Trans Harmonic Nights

As for Vangelis, I've always had, and always will have a soft spot for his music,
even the albums with more classical leanings, such as Alexander,
and perhaps to a lesser extent Rosetta

Nice selections Eric. Very Happy
