Found dead in hs Berlin apartment He was only 48.

I'm quite crushed by this news. I was fortunate to see him in concert twice in Minneapolis. This was before he became known as a soundtrack composer. I think one of the concerts was the tour for the Fordlandia album.

As of today, I still haven't heard the cause of his death. Not sure I want to know.

If you haven't heard his music, give a listen to Englaborn, Fordlandia, or IBM 1401 User's Manual (yes, that's the actual name).

Yes, sad news. The only music of his that I have heard is in the movie PRISONERS.
