That's good news. No more 150+ Euro auctions on eBay.

I think I will add them to my collection as I missed out on buying these when they were still available.

It would be nice to include a pop-and-crackle free version of "Haunted Heights" as well.

Release date is 27th of May for Romance '76 & Trans Harmonic Nights only with no additional tracks.
Typical of Cherry Red reissues there is no information about the audio sources, who remastered them or why because the originals still sound fine.

I am highly suspicious of this label's reissues since the early TD, Aphrodite's Child and Vangelis reissues.

They specialise in obtaining the legal rights and then use whatever sources for audio/artwork (LP/CD's rips, cover scans) then depending on who "remasters" the result can be neutral or often seriously degraded.

Their focus is on (re)packaging which many seem to fall for.
When the TD Zeit came out 5 years ago all comments were about the truly great box packaging while the poor LP's/CD's audio hardly got a mention.

The Baumann reissues should have been easy by simply ripping the Virgin CD's but after "remastering" who knows, fingers crossed they'll sound fine for those buying them.

So, this is no Bureau B reissue then?

Nope, Bureau B is for the new one and the way things work with early reissues I would not be surprised if Baumann had nothing to do with them.
Cherry Red deal with whoever has the legal rights to the music and it may be a coincidence, but I think the Cherry team hopped on the band waggon when the Baumann rejoins TD rumor started leaving out the Repeat (stutter fx) for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the link, if a couple more tracks sound as good on the album this is the surprise album I've been hoping for from an EM pioneer Smile

indeed... seems to be a perfect continuation to the lineage of Romance 76 and THN. Ordered the vinyl (+CD) from Bureau B as soon as it was announced.
