Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hard to believe it's going to happen, but - seems to be true... Mr. Green

JPC is already offering this 2 CD set, apparently containing one CD with new (or at least: previously unreleased) tracks, and the second CD with some rarities...

https://www.jpc.de/jpcng/poprock/detail/-/art/klaus-schulze-eternal-the-70th-birthday-edition/hnum/7498759

Track list:

Disk 1 von 2
1 Rhodes Ramance (probably a typo, and rather "Romance", I guess Wink )
2 Minority Report
3 Mongolia

Disk 2 von 2
1 Schrittmacher
2 Ion/Andromeda
3 Andromeda-The Grand Trance

Does anyone know any further details...?

P.S. ...just found MIG's announcement:

Double-CD on the occasion of Klaus’ 70th birthday. MIG proudly presents several gems of typical Schulze works. CD 1: a complete previously unreleased album. CD 2: rare tracks, once released in a very limited number at Music fairs.

CD 1 contains a complete previously unreleased album, made by Klaus around year 2006/2007.

On CD 2 we find with the 3 tracks “Schrittmacher”, “Ion/Andromeda” and “Andromeda-The Grand Trance” titles written by Klaus for keyboard manufacturers and shared in very small amounts (300 pcs.) on music fairs. The theme “Andromeda” was released in a different, tight reduced version (Constellation Andromeda 23:52)) as bonus track on the album “Dreams” (MIG 01752 CD). Here you find it in its whole magnificence and hypnotic creed in full length (Ion/Andromeda and Andromeda-The Grand Trance (57:17)!)

The liner notes were written by none else but Ecki Stieg (Grenzwellen) and you can read it in the extensive booklet.

P.P.S. ...preview on SoundCloud:

Hmmm - to be honest, owning the 2 CD edition of "Shadowlands", this material sounds vaguely familiar... Confused

Rhodes romance does sound vaguely familiar to Shadowlands, however i would get it just for the ion/andromeda works, Schrittmacher i already have , wondering if ion/andromeda is still get rereleased by itself? if so, i would just forego this release.

Minoroty Report sounds like the Osnabruck concert (Live at Klangart).

Yeah, it's basically "Rhodes Violin" without violin. Which actually doesn't make it more interesting, unfortunately... Rolling Eyes

I don't know about their further re-release plans, to be honest.

I think "Schrittmacher" is easily the best track in this set, followed by "Ion" - personally, I'm not so fond of the long "Andromeda".

I thought the same; I think it's a backing Kaus used in different concerts - isn't the encore / last piece of the Loreley concert based on it as well...?

All in all, my feelings about this are rather divided; basically I'd think it's an OK release and a good thing they do *something* on Klaus jubilee birthday at all, but labeling well known recordings as a "new album" is not a very bright marketing move by MIG at all, I fear...

*SIGH!*

Confused
