Suzanne Chiani, Flowers of Evil

Suzanne Chiani, Buchla Concerts 1975

Suzanne Chiani, Quadraphonic Sound Performance, YT video

...it's a recent one. Also includes an interview:

While I'm just at it, here's a great lecture on the Buchla system by Suzanne at Red Bull Music Academy:

Wendy Carlos "Timesteps" from the Clockwork Orange Soundtrack.

To me still the very best pure Modular synth tracks I ever heard.

Definitely a great piece of electronic music!

My Wendy Carlos listen for today was:

Wendy Carlos, Beauty in the Beast

...the old lady turns 80 today - go figure! Shocked

Had a bit of an obscure 70s Prog frenzy on Spotify recently;

Gravy Train - Staircase to the Day
Dave Greenslade - Cactus Choir
Web - I Spider
Samurai
Indian Summer
Quatermass

Enjoyed them all and need to acquire same.

Currently;

Ishqamatics - Spacebound CD
Neuland on Spotify ! Oh yes.

The Rosen Corporation, Pale Fire

The Rosen Corporation, Delta (Part 1)

I wasn't aware of this guy just until now and admit that I'm very impressed! Shocked

Strong, dark and expressive music inspired by Vangelis, TD and (probably) Schulze, with quite it's own twist. He (...or she? There's no real name I could find...) doesn't seem to ever have been discussed here at the portal, which I find surprising (but maybe I just used the search engine wrong... Wink )

P.S. ...upon further research it turned out that the man behind this (and some other) project(s) seems to be a gentleman named Peter Baldwin - and that he is an amazing visual artist as well.
Some people's talent is just frightening... Shocked Wink
