Just saw an announcement by German radio host Ecki Stieg (You may know him from MIG, too):

Stephen Parsick (...of ['ramp] fame! Shocked ) will be his studio guest on Wednesday evening next week (that would be 25th of October).

Obviously it will be in German, but since Stephen is a master of so many tongues, maybe he'll also throw in some Dutch or English greetings if he knows that some of You are listening... Wink

Thanks for the announcement, Michael.

The interview was conducted at the Electronic Circus Festival three weeks ago which I thought was a nice thing to do. When I was doing my military Service back in 1992/93, every Sunday evening after returning to the barracks, I would turn on my radio and listen to Grenzwellen which made the evenings a bit easier to deal with. This was (and is) an opportunity for me to give back a little for what I received.

There is also a fundraiser for Grenzwellen to keep it independent as a resource. If you would like to donate, you can go here:

https://www.leetchi.com/c/projekt-von-grenzwellen

Thanks for listening,

Stephen

You can download the entire radio feature from my Bandcamp site:

And it's free of charge.

Enjoy,

Stephen.

Thanks, Stephen.

Excellent show and interview. Contained even two (great) tracks that are not in my collection yet.

HA! Laughing Well, I failed to memorize the exact titles, but it was (I guess) the first solo (ambient) track in the show, and later that Wuppertal one together with the other guy (who's name escapes me too at the moment...)

I suppose both are available via Bandcamp (again)...?

The ambient bit would have been an excerpt from "rhizophora", the other track was "here comes the flood" from the phelios/parsick album "it always rains in wuppertal".

Great title, btw. Pyrolator thought it was a nice pun.

Stephen

Like Frank Zappa would have said: Exactly! Cool

For sure (even if at the few occasions I actually transited Wuppertal, it never seemed to rain there Wink )
