Good film, nice score by Serra. Cool to see his name in "frames" on the movie poster...

Nice film. I've found Besson's films to be more focused on style over content though, which perhaps isn't always necessarily a bad thing (though for me it most definitely was in The Fifth Element).

The Fifth Element was the first of his American period, which was certainly more commercial. His early classics are superb, though.

Leon is a great movie featuring a very young Natalie Portman who went on to appear in the last three Star Wars films as Princess Amadala.

If memory serves me right there is an excellent director's cut of Leon out on DVD featuring approx 20 mins of extra footage.
