This is great. FIRESTARTER and RISKY BUSINESS performed acoustically by music students.

Absolutely wonderful. I'd say even better than the originals.

One of the commenters on the Firestarter track mentioned Edgar being more a composer than a musician, but listening to "Charly the Kid" it sounds more like a Schmoelling composition to me. On the other hand, "Love On A Real Train" might be more of a Froese piece.

Those kids! Shocked Just playing wonderful!

I have to admit that I like these renditions quite a bit more than the originals (...well, I never was much of a fan of that particular TD period).

But why didn't You mention that Thomas Rydell was involved in this as an arranger and so on...? I guess these are his students performing here.

In case someone doesn't know Thomas (and fans of great electronic music should) here's a place to check him out:

https://thomasrydell.bandcamp.com/

I have several of his albums - all excellent! - and had the pleasure and honour to chat with him from time to time over at FB (last time we did so, he was just about to fly to LA to meet Peter Baumann! Laughing ).

GREAT guy!

.
