Just picked up a Roland JD800 - looking forward to getting to grips with programming it.
I got mine last autumn, superb machine, just got a rom card set for it as well, so easy to program it's ridiculous. enjoy.....

I had a VP330 for a number of years, it's a nice instrument whose sounds I never quite managed to get to fit in with any music I wrote. I sold it for 750 uk pounds (paid 250 for it about 6-7 years previous). I wouldn't mind lending/hiring one to sample, but I wouldn't pay out big money for one. The single envelope generator shared by all the notes is very frustrating!
A VP550 for 250 uk pounds I could actually be tempted by. I do like oddball keyboards.

Decent freq shifters are always expensive! I keep wanting to buy the modcan one, but I can't quite bring myself to stump up that much money on one panel quiet yet.
hello,
yes, i know...
is the Modcan freq.shifter even more expensive than the Cwejman?
the most expensive i know is the Bode-type RS240 from the Analogue Systems Integrator modular... i wish i could buy that one...
best regards,
Bakis.

Modcan freq shifter is 853 dollars. The infinite phasing effect these things can supposedly do sounds pretty cool to me. I'm not sure what else I'd actually use one for though - IIRC they're useful for synthesising drum sounds? It's a lot to pay out speculatively.

yes, the modcan module is expensive... although the Modcan modular is an amazing modular.
the Cwejman frequency shifter costs "only" 600 USD...
best regards,
Bakis.
