presenting # 222 :

Blue Lily Commission > Shiva

from the brand new album "Bharatadubs"

Following on from the 2008 release "Eve Songs" comes the sixth Blue Lily Commission album "Bharatadubs." The tone of this album is Indian, from the light and subtle opener 'Karma,' through the central part of the album, the trio of dub tracks based on Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu, aka the Indian deities of creation, destruction and preservation, to the lengthy closer 'Samsara,' with its hypnotic sequences and delay effects. The music here moves on from the two dub tracks on "Eve Songs" with the addition of drums and a selection of real Indian instruments. Prepare to chill out under an evening sky in the Indian subcontinent...

presenting # 223 :

Altus > Molten Gold Sunset over a City of Ashes

from his latest album "City of Ashes"

"City of Ashes" is a audio/visual project pairing the music of Mike Carss and the photography of Shawn Sintzel.
A mix of ambient and orchestral works, this is by far the most cinematic music Carss has released to date,
and acts as a film-like soundtrack to Sintzel's stark and austere photography.

presenting # 224 :

Open Canvas > Cross Cultured Caravan

from the latest album "Travel by Sound"

"Travel by Sound is an electronic excursion into the the melodies and rhythms of far eastern lands. Where the intertwining electronic pulses of synthesizers and melodic wind blown and hand plucked instruments of India and the middle east meet in a peaceful dance. A sonic tapestry where the percolating rhythm's of the tabla and dumbek meet dub infected basslines and the distant chants of the muezzin. Sit back close your eyes, open your mind and ears its time to travel east.

Travel by Sound is the continuing musical saga/exploration that began with the debut release Nomadic Impressions and followed by Indumani

A pan eastern musical journey influenced by the rhythms and instrumentation of the Asian subcontinent, Middle East and Jamaican dub. Electronic music that moves both mind and body within a cinema of sound."

presenting # 225 :

Stephen Palmer > 78

"On 1 August 2009 Ambientlive released a large scale solo work from Stephen Palmer. This work consists of six albums, each one evoking a particular electronic music sound. Two of the albums were recorded with old analogue synthesizers - the Yamaha CS-30L and the Korg MS-20 - and these albums also feature the sounds of very early string synthesizers"

presenting # 227 :

Stefan Erbe > Faster Move (radio edit)

from his brand new album "Driver"

Erbe's spectrum of musical production was not specified to deliver the same stylistic on every new cd.
Also “driver” goes a new way, regarding the last album “inside the images”, which was a result of mixing
classic music with electronic style. Now, Erbe get in his “mr2-competition” and eternalize his virtual
nightrides on a moving soundtrack

presenting # 230 :

MOOCH > Inbolc (featuring Jez Creek aka Modulator ESP)

from the brand new (2CD) album "The Pagan Year" (release date: February 15th, 2010)

As before, the music is spacey, progressive, rock and electronic. Covering eight tracks over two disks, the album invites the listener to travel through a pagan year, starting with the ancient festival of Imbolc, passing through two equinoxes and the summer solstice, and the pagan festivals of Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain, then finishing at the midwinter solstice, Yule.

And as before there are some stellar guests: Bridget Wishart (Hawkwind), Alex Pym (Dream Machine), Chris Gill (Band Of Rain), Cyndee Lee Rule, Jez Creek, John Sherwood and Linda Harlow. Erich Z. Schlagzeug is the drummer.

Welcome to a space-progressive rock album for a new pagan future.
Welcome to a new Earth-centred way of experiencing the year...
