First LP I bought myself (1980):

Mike Oldfield -- Platinum (I still have it, and I still wonder why exactly I bought it... must have been the name who rang a bell, and I thought this had to be good because of that)

First LP I got as a gift (1981):

Jean Michel Jarre -- Magnetic Fields (from an uncle of mine who I reminded that he had forgotten about my birthday...)

First CD (1988):

Vangelis -- Antarctica

Stephen

I don't think I want to remember the first lp that I bought. In any case it wasn't electronic music. Wink

My first cd was Wuivend Riet by Johannes Schmoelling. And I didn't even have a cd player at that time!

Can only remember my first single:
UB40 - Food for thought

and the prophetic words of my father when I brought it home and played it:
"Once you start buying music.........."
