Mon Sep 20, 2010 2:50 pm Embedding a Video
Hi, is it possible to embed a video here? I tried but failed, maybe just not doing it correctly.
Cheers,
Brian

Brian, there is an insert video option in the formatting controls when you post
It looks like this:
It inserts the following code

I'll be looking into it. Just adding the url won't work anyway, you'll need to use the "video embeded code" that's on the Youtube page (look for the button).
However, even that's not working (yet).
To be continued.

I'm trying to embed Youtube video into post - still no luck. I see some members can do it, but for me it's just a mystery .
Tried old (object) and new (iframe) codes - doesn't work.
Have you guys found any solution for this?
Thanks,
Julian

Just copy and paste the HTML code from the YouTube embed option in the message. No extra codes required. Perhaps your option "Disable HTML in this post" is enabled.

Thanks, it works now.
It looks like the image , embedded prior video was causing a problem.
