Im amazed as to how well Alan Parsons Project stands up for me today, the music is good now is as was back then , its been 35 plus years I have listened to them. I have many favorites from APP, one that stands out very much is Limelight from Stereotomy, it always has ever since it was released back in 85 I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9AFTWAaHG8
Ashamed Gary only made one appearance with them and not any further, great voice.

I love their instrumental music. The vocal stuff, not so much.
I just found out about the two great songs Cloudbreak and Apollo from On Air, by Alan Parsons (solo).

I like all their stuff however will admit Eve is the weakest, I missed out on Time Machine which I'm told is very weak.

this topic also made me think of the APP-offshoot Keats, which didn't last long; I have good memories on the song "Walking on Ice" on their single record......

Well opinions differ I quite like Eve, which was my introduction to APP. For me Stereotomy is one of their (his) weakest. Too sterile, focus on being digital rather than emotional/musical....

Time Machine is not bad, nice instrumentals and overall enjoyable for light entertainment. Of course, your mileage may vary.
