EmForum.li seems to be back. And again under an anonymous profile. Most of you know what I said about this before, but I will say it again for the new members:

It is nice to see that there are quite a large number of new EM Forums emerging since the sudden (and in my opinion somewhat questionable) demise of EmForum.nl, because it shows that there is a need for such a forum. But when a new forum opens that looks extremely much like the old one (and this one, to be honest...), with a message about it posted on this (EMPortal) forum under a hidden name it smells like unfair competition. So, as long as the "founder(s)" of EMForum.li decide not to reveal his/their identity, I'm sceptical...

And why did they pick the Liechtenstein domain extension? Not because it is cheaper than others, I'm sure.

When I look at their memberlist, I see a lot of familiar names there that used to be on EMForum.nl and some even are members of this one (EMPortal) too. Come on guys, aren't we stretching ourselves a little here? I can understand your dedication to EM, but I think that the last thing this genre needs is competition among forums.

Hm, looks like it is forbidden to mention emforum.li here. I can understand why... For those who don't know what the beep I'm talking about, just take a look at the profile information of Fairway who joined us 4 days ago. Under a different name than the one he used for the previous incarnation of EMPortal for that matter...

I'll repeat the original comment that I made on the old version of this forum: If his number of posts stays 1 for a long period of time, that would be a little suspicious.

That's all. Those who want to join his forum too, please do not feel that I don't want you to. As far as I'm concerned, it's a free world, and everybody has a right to make their own choices.
