Hello everyone I'm TJ,
I have been looking for a forum to discuss and hear your thoughts on electronic music.
I listen to a wide variety of music from Jazz, New Age, Classical and Film Music but I've become espcially interested in electronic music the last 6 years. Around 2014 I started listening to a lot of synthwave and have become a fan of artists such as Duett, Morgan Willis, Mitch Muder, and Waveshaper and other reto sounding things which led me to Tangerine Dream. Force Majeur, Tangram, Underwater Sunlight and Melrose are actually my favorite of thiers.
I don't play any music myself. But I image if I did I would explore more ideas on combining old school-electronic, New Age and Jazz. I went searching for similar music, and discovered Dancing Fantasy and Software from the Innovative Communications label. I became a little fanatic over it, and have obtained almost 200 albums on the IC label.
Recently I have discovered Mellowjet Records and am really enjoying the artists output from there especially moonbooter and Harald Nies.
