I am ordering this as soon as it's available in Europe.
What Apple are offering for $500 is incredible..... guess it will be

I was wondering what was going to happen with the next upgrade (and when). Definitely glad I never bought the upgrade from 6 to 7.

It says it will run on a G4...
That does bump the price a bit, but the new iMacs are great value these days.
I use the last generation intel iMac btw and it's GREAT. I paid

Unfortunately my G4 is getting a bit old (1 gig processor, the last of the titaniums). I've had it for over 4 years and it has served me extremely well (and had a Powermac 8600 for over 6 years prior to that).

I think it is time for a Macbook Pro - looks like I'll need to sell something.. (though the cheapest of the three pros currently available is a bargain compared to what I paid for my G4).
