1. Parallel Worlds & Dave Bessel / Morphogenic
No contest, really. An absolutely perfect mix of dark sequencers, haunting ambience and quirky electronics. If you're waiting for the new Node album and haven't heard this yet, you really must.

2. Future Sound of London / Environments 4
3. Future Sound of London / From the Archives 7

More from the bands seemingly bottomless unreleased archives, though they've definately started dipping into material meant for their Amorphous Androgynous psych rock alias.

4. Broken Harbour / The Geometry of Shadows
Indescribably chilling Space Odyssey ambience.

5. Hans Zimmer / The Dark Knight Rises
Thankfully this soundtrack lived up to expectations, even if the movie turned out to be the absolute biggest disapointment of the year.

6. Perge / Dyad
An unashamed recreation of live 80's TD so perfectly on-the-nose, listening to this was like unearthing a lost bootleg from a forgotten Froese/Franke/Schmoelling tour.

7. Ian Boddy & Erik Wøllo / Frontiers
Terrific collaboration and another great entry in the consistently excellent DiN catalogue.

8. Marc Streitenfeld / Prometheus
Another great soundtrack to a terrible film. This one spent a surprising amount of time in my playlist this year.
