2. Ulrich Schnauss - A Long Way To Fall
3. Sverre Knut Johansen - Lights (CDR)
4. SynthX - Noxia (2CD)
5. Various - Music From The Films Of Ridley Scott
6. Harold Faltermeyer feat. Steve Stevens - Flying Bulls Anthem (EP)
7. Mercury Motors - Rewind 1988 - 2013

9. Sverre Knut Johansen - Life (CDR)
10. Depeche Mode - Delta Machine (Deluxe Edition)
11. Christian Welde - Lucid Dreaming (CDR)
12. Sverre Knut Johansen - Hibernation (CDR)

Also, 4 CDs with older music, released for the first time in 2013, or re-released:
1. Hans Zimmer - Days Of Thunder
2. James Newton Howard - Grand Canyon
3. Tangerine Dream - Near Dark (Limited Edition)
4. Hans Zimmer/Stanley Myers/Michael Kamen - Castaway/Mona Lisa

And this one, which doesn't fit in any category:

3 Bruce Soord with Jonas Renske - Wisdom of Crowds
4 Depeche Mode - Delta Machine
5 Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Push the Sky Away

9 Atoms For Peace - Amok
10 Ihsahn - Das Seelenbrechen

It's a brilliant 2-hour film, very personal and very much focused on his film work. I would have loved to hear comments from Roger Donaldson (The Bounty) and Costa-Gavras (Missing) too, but that's a minor complaint.

I also would have liked to hear some facts about some of his studio albums, like Oceanic, Voices, The City and Direct, but they were totally ignored.

But all in all, any Vangelis fan should buy it.

Nice one at the top. :-D

Also good to see soundtracks. I have heard much good about Price's Gravity.

I'm a huge fan of soundtracks. My last "discovery" has been Sunshine OST, I watched the movie some days ago and I liked it very much, both the movie and the soundtrack.

Well - here are some releases that impressed me a lot, in random order (I don't actually have a favorite among these, or it depends on my mood of the moment...)

Darage Bang, Phosphenes

Ian Boddy & Markus Reuter, Colour Division

Jack Hertz, Cahokia

Cousin Silas, Dronescape 014

Ian Boddy, Sepulchre + Liverdelphia

Juta Takahashi, Transcendence

Ashen Simian, Spinal Staircase

Leonardo, A Drop in the Ocean

...and these (which are not really from 2013, though):

Klaus Schulze + Günter Schickert, The Schulze-Schickert Session

Frank Klare, Solodreams - Solomode - Monomode

I guess there must be more, and then I also didn't find much time to listen this year. But in any case - these are some great ablums.

I also remember to have enjoyed most of this year's tracks by Phrozenlight again, and another highlight were the concert videos of this years's AmbiCon - great sets of all performers, maybe I liked Robert Rich's and Stephan Micus' concerts most...

P.S.

OK - I had forgotten that it was also released this year, but of course...

Klaus Schulze, Shadowlands

after all was one of this year's top releases for me, too - on the strength of the hauntingly beautiful first half of "The Rhodes Violin", in the first place....

Ever so welcome, Bert! :-)
