This is some great music, especially the piece "The Day Before You Came," lots of cool bass, synth solos, great perc. I totally miss this, used to have it on cassette ages ago, would love to have it on cd, is it out there somewhere?

Yes, quite a bit of their work has been released on cd. The Day before You Came (an ABBA cover, for those who didn't notice) is e.g. available on the 'Best of' cd Second Helpings.
My personal favorite is Waves. A fantastic song!

Their first album is brilliant (there were also some nice instrumental tracks on their early b-sides). It seems this stuff is pretty hard to obtain on CD.

I never got around to get any of their LPs but I loved a few of their songs. Living on the Ceiling (or was it dancing?) was a big hit in the 1980s. Back when pop music had more of of an edge to it.

I discovered this band few years ago while looking for New Romantics music to do a CD set for listening in the car. I love some of their music, especially "Blind Vision", "I've Seen The Word", "Game Over My Head" and "Leaving On The Ceiling". I think they were a very underrated duo.

Their latest album, Blanc Burn (2011), I did not like it at all, it's just awful.

Best regards

I went to see them in concert last night in London. They were superb. Lots of golden oldies from the brilliant Happy Families album and most of the new album Blanc Burn. If you like HF, then you'll love BB.

Happy days, just like the 'old days'. I first saw them as a support band for someone in the early 80's, I have a feeling it was OMD.
