I was lucky enough to win a contest that Groove was running a few years ago and I was able to flesh out my collection of his then-current music. Of all of them, CONCORDE and LIVE were the two that held my attention the most. I did check for his listings on a Turkish goods website (I lived in Ankara back in the early 1970's) and he has been active in the TV & movie soundtrack business. Haven't been motivated enough to order them, but since there is a small Turkish goods store near here, I could go in and check to see if they have any in the bins the next time I'm in the area.

Anyone know of any other Turkish e-musicians?

I found his website: http://www.canatilla.com

I'm sure there's many musicians in Turkey that create music using electronics. I don't know of any other New Age/EM artists though.
On his website he states the following about his 1992 cassette BİLİN

I have most of his CDs, and my favourites are "Live" and "Omni". I like the sometimes Jarre-sque and sometimes Vangelis-esque style of his music.

Well if you ARE influenced mainly by one or two artists, why not be up-front about it instead of just dropping hints?
(Not aimed at you Stephen)

I have Waves of Wheels, first half of which sounds basically like "Seattle Years" TD (everything from Rockoon to Dream Mixes) combined with Chris Franke (circa "Pacific Coast Highway"). Fun stuff. Second, Ave, which is a total "Cherokee Lane meets Livemiles" ripoff but regardless among my fave EM albums from the last 10 years (see previous point).

I was curious is anyone has listened to any of Can Atiila's newer works. By their names they seem to be more enthically influenced (musically)
I may just downloaded some of it and give it a quick listen.
