P'Cock

A promising German EM/Prog band which appeared and disappeared in the early eighties. They did two albums (especially The Prophet was great) on the IC label. I have seen Tommy Betzler (drummer/percussionist) a last time playing (solo) with Klaus Schulze in Brussels (great gig in 1980) and then they vanished.

I got The Prophet and In'Cognito when they came out.
I have copied the vinyl to CD, which I have 'somewhere'

'House in the Storm' is in my top 3 tracks of all time.
The guitar break in 'Toby' is fantastic.

Another band of the same era is Eela Craig

P'Cock is top !

I got the two well known IC releases as LP and then of cause the kind of best of on CD. But I also got the third LP that is showing an old black Telefon in the front. Its more 4 mins a track pop tracks. It is missing the good and long prog-rock parts. But not bad at all. It came out in the mid to late eighties. I think I should digitalize this now.

They had some personal change after then second LP. And then they fall apart very soon. I never heard a word about what happened to them later.

They did some good concerts in the early eighties. I remember seing dates in the papers then.
