For years, the recordings of our 4-piece combo Erren Fleissig Schöttler Steffen (EFSS), made in Ouddorp in 2016, have been sitting on my hard drive, ready to go.
We never got around to releasing them anywhere, but now I'm just going to do it.
Since I don't want to bother with ‘official releases’ and such anymore, I just created a playlist on YouTube.
There were a few people who liked our music. Well, here are a few tracks, ‘new old stock’ so to speak.
I call the compilation ‘Mosselbank’, which was the name of the street where our ‘studio’ (i.e. holiday home) was located.
Most of the tracks are quiet, so don't expect any boom boom.
At the beginning, the Korg Mono/Poly gets to let loose, which is very prominent on the ‘album’ in general.
Otherwise: Theis Modular, other 5 HU stuff, Eurorack, Ensoniq VFX, Polivoks, Faemi 1M, Chroma Polaris, Moog Voyager OS, Yamaha SY1, Yamaha CS15, Casio CZ1, Oberheim OB8, my goodness, we were crazy.
