De Enck theatre declared bankrupt

When going to the site of De Enck theatre in Oirschot, The Netherland, famous for the E-Day and E-Live festivals, I noticed they were declared bankrupt.

Their future was already uncertain way before COVID-19. I guess the pandemic - and the complete lack of activities that was the result of it - was the final blow. A pity. Always thought it was a nice place.

It was in problems long before Covid-19. Ron announced on his FB page, last July, that he found a perfect replacement (although the UPDATE in that message states it may be too expensive), but current situation will prevent a next gathering for a while I fear :(

Ron has announced today that he has indeed found a replacement venue. And has some dates for next year to announce as well. As long as we're not all running round eating each others brains by then.

Well, believe it or not, "De Enck" will be brought back to life ;) (In dutch)
Whether or not E-live/E-day can be hosted there again remains to be seen, I'm sure Ron will investigate.

Meanwhile a good Elive was held last saturday at Natlab Eindhoven.

I found this particularly interesting:

I seem to remember vaguely that De Schalm used to be the location for E-Live around 2000 or thereabouts.
