Going to Berlin in June. So where's this "school"?

OK, I know it's not an actual school but as I'll be in the city for only a few days I'd love to know if there are any good stores to pick up some discs.

Are Manikin titles carried in retail stores there?

These days, record stores aren´t as popular as they used to be, unfortunately. I guess there still are lots of them scattered all over Berlin if you know where to look, especially those 2nd-hand vinyl stores. The major retailers have abandoned on record departments in their stores almost completely (Media Markt, Saturn, Hertie etc.).

You will definitely want to go to Schwäbische Strasse and Fuggerstrasse in Wilmersdorf :).

I never have seen any "Berlin School" music being sold somewhere in Berlin. In fact it seems that the predominant taste of music in Berlin has almost nothing to do with what is usually called "Berlin School".

I passed by the legendary Schwäbische Strasse just by pure accident some times ago. I found it one of the most inexpressive places in Berlin ever I have seen in that city I have to say.

I really couldn't say where to go in order to find that particular spirit of the Berlin School in Berlin. Has it ever been there somewhere anyway? I don't know.

Well, You could ask KDM if he wants to meet You for a coup of coffee (...or whatever) and talk about the old times. If he's in the mood for it. Which is unfortunately very unlikely...

Don't know about Manikin releases, but I have a bought myself poor in Schulze, Froese, Schmoelling and TD in these shops:
