Hello to all on the forums, I think I have been registered here since 2010 but I don't think I ever got around to saying hello :)

I'm Dave Pearson, former Brit and now Hungarian citizen living in Szekesfehervar, Hungary, halfway between Budapest and Lake Balaton.

I play all sorts of styles, and have been playing since about 1980 although Berlin School is a theme I keep coming back to. I've played in rock bands and some of that influence comes through from time to time, sometimes a little and sometimes "where's the synth?" :)
You can find my back catalogue on bandcamp at https://computerchemist.bandcamp.com and several kind people are trying to keep my https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computerchemist wikipedia up to date.

The last two collaboration albums with RadioRay aren't really Berlin at all, and yet they are. I play sequencer runs on bass guitars and electric guitars in a more conventional space rock format.

But everything else on there is pretty much synth based. I've been told I captured the mood of the time when TD went prog around Cyclone and Force Majeure. So one of my recent albums https://computerchemist.bandca…h-prevails that which prevails has an opening track called "the circumstances beyond one's control" which of course should take you three seconds to find in the thesaurus is of course another name for "force majeure", and yes it is my tribute to TD. I sent a copy of the finished CD to Eduard Meyer, who produced FM and he was very taken with it. In fact, he gave me a review which you can find somewhere on my site or bandcamp.
I've even just finished my first soundtrack for a feature film that has started receiving awards too. You can even find me in https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6692355/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr4 imdb!

Anyway, enough about all that.

How many of you peoples did I get through to 15 years ago, and how many are about to discover me all over again? Anything else you'd like to know about me or my music? Please drop me a comment and I'll try to answer everything :)

Morning, Dr. Dave! Good to see you here. I guess I'm one of those "15 year guys" you reference.

Oh, and i do have a question! Is there such a thing as "too much mellotron?" ;-)

Yes, it's called The Bloody Moose or Barclay Came Hardest.

How about Grin Kimson?

.

Not enough Mellotron to qualify.

Nemesis, with Bony Tanks on keys, more like it.
