My name is Nate and I'm a new artist that goes by 1.e4. In the real world I'm working on a PhD in Linguistics here in the US. I discovered ambient music via a friend and found that it makes a nice soundtrack for intense studying/writing. Now it's basically all I can listen to no matter what I'm doing.
Eventually I ended up wanting to try and create some of my own, and so the album you can find at the link below as born. 1.e4 is an opening move in chess, a pastime I was quite absorbed in at the time I was trying to think of a name, and so I just went with it.
