What is your opinion of marketing on internet radio? I just submitted my cd to CD Baby and noticed that he did not recommend internet radio but only paying radio. I asked why but never got a response. It seems to me that if you are reaching people who love your genre of music it can only be a good thing. Plus, I really like the idea of supporting independent internet radio stations. I'd love to hear your opinions about this.

I think playing your music by FREE internet radio is a good thing.
It is a good and cheap way to let other people hear your music.
Paying radio is good for RIAA etc. It costs the broadcasters a lot of money, but the artists get just a few bucks

When you belong to the small group of commercial artists,I can understand that you want big money, but for me counts only airplay

(oke, earning a few euro's is not a bad thing :twisted: :twisted: )

but that is only my opinion

Oh, that's a great perspective and makes perfect sense, and is just the opposite of what I was hearing. Nice.
