This should be released by WeeklyLeaks label
I thought Jarre was (still) a musician of sorts, now he's tapping into an infinite source of collaborators & musical experience not required...

The art and music, the artist and musicans are allways inspiered by important global events happend on earth and in our society.
Despite the political oppinion or wealth of lables and agencies, even listener.

Electronic music is a state of awareness in time from musican and listeners too.
Jean-Michel Jarre has produced a lot of political and social statements in his works.
Have a further look to his work portfolio.

A lot of great EM musican did it also going creative.
Remember Kraftwerk, with "Radioaktivität" and the computer in popular use of our society.
Long time ago and prophetic .

Remember the EM musicans they are shocked by the tsunami catastrophe in Fukushima
and the radiation desaster that happend.
They are all composed inspiered EM music to express there thoughts and feelings by art.

All the "big themes" are declared in the art of electronic music history, as well are pointed by pop music and
all kinds of arts. The support from an artists to a pursued man.

In EM not required?
Edward is the inspiration and Jean-Michel ist the experienced musican.

Of course but those high level concepts don't cover this kind of show.
Jarre (Musician) + Snowded (what is he?) collaborating on a track, then dedicate the album to Snowden for what, coz his past work/current status vary wildly around the world.

Kraftwerk celebrated technology, Radioactivity was about the discovery and technological possibilities, then 16 year later it got a lyrics facelift sending a very different message.

This must be the weirdest EM collaboration ever and who knows, Assange may be next :)

It's good if you want to generate public exposure in the media.

Musical talent not necessarily required.

Yeah, a most opportunistic behavior.
Electronica started as an odd musical collaborations "project" then a newspaper facilitates a meeting and suddenly vol 2 is dedicated to Snowden
How would the other collaborators feel about their sudden involvement in whatever this project has become
Snowden was born 8 years after Oxygene and someone failed miserably in putting a spin on how destiny brought them together for a track, gimme a break.

"I don't like spinach!" is also a statement.

Not sure whether this would propel my album sales in the future, though.
