Due to an agreement between Edgar and Jerome Froese, most TD albums between 1990 and 2006 are going to be deleted after the last units have been sold to the public.

I don't think it is as bad as most are making it out to be. What I read is, he has the rights. Now he can re-issue and re-arrange as he wants. Some stuff never before out (offical anyway) will be released too. All good and gives him a income to run his biz. Looks like Dad gave his son a present.

I just don't see the harm yet in this... :?

I never realised Jerome wrote so much of the TD material. A lot of my favourite tracks in fact.

New releases should be interesting

I've not delved in the TD-orak world recently so I don't know what people are saying.

I didn't see it as harm, just suprising. What are Dad's plans then? Living off operas? Or just Rubycon Royalties?

Agree, that's what I thought too. Dad helps son with arranging things for the future. EF = not 16 anymore.

Well don't forget the other members, past and present too...
I use ASCAP database to look up things like this all the time. BMI and others too have a wealth of info. If you ever cover a tune or borrow more than min, you will need to look at these places too and harry fox agency to get the needed permissions to use ... but that is digressing from here ....

Yea, a lot he has done ... Very happy for him I am ... I like what I read so far on his new CD coming out in April ..

while I am one of those who is stuck in past TD (70's to late 80's and some in the 90's) I do like Jerome's fresh and more modern updates, like he did in the DM series ... just me ... odd creature I am ...
