GOL was not an album to end a contract. In fact, it was JMJ's first album on Warner. It had a limited release (and credited to JMJ only as "project by Jarre" - not his full name on the front) because it was a thing he did for the club VIP Room in Paris. Sort of a soundtrack to the club itself.

Sessions 2000, however, it most likely a contractual obligation to end his FDM relationship.

I took sessions 2000 back to the shop as I didn't like it..then rebought it two weeks later. GOL is the better of the two and although I don't play them that often they are decent albums that I occasionally enjoy.
