GOL was not an album to end a contract. In fact, it was JMJ's first album on Warner. It had a limited release (and credited to JMJ only as "project by Jarre" - not his full name on the front) because it was a thing he did for the club VIP Room in Paris. Sort of a soundtrack to the club itself.
