:!: Recently the music companies joined Youtube to delete every single copyrighted material, groups and artists, so it has considerably reduced the musical videos for watching...

But as things happen, new videos appear... Enjoy now that you can this magnificent Schulze Video. As adviced by one of my friends in myspace "Neon"

Why should people like Klaus care if people post his videos?

They are just helping promote him by doing so. Its not these are bootlegs and someones making $ on it.

The problem with many EM artists is that they dont realize a good thing when its righ in front of them.

+ much of this stuff will NEVER get exposure of released!!

I say enjoy it and share!

I'm as surprised as you are, But the artists has almost nothing to do with it, it is the companies they signed to.

You can`t even put your name on anything if it is not authorized by the company...

What you and I understand as promotion, for them is piracy... What you and I understand as Art, for them is lawyers and Ca$h...

I heard often the artists, (the real ones) are very unhappy when sign to a company... but it's that, or getting a regular job...

...weird world...

U P D A T E:

I heard Klaus Schulze himself is behind this, because he's preparing a DVD ... if that`s the case... he can delete whatever!!!
Hope to see that DVD soon!!!

A Frank Zappa's song say something like:

"The FBI is gonna get you"

You can change it for "KDM is gonna get you" ;-)

Klaus has had years to release something on DVD or VHS for that matter so I find your theory lacking.

It wasnt until You Tube gained such exposure that everyones sniffer came out and smelled money in the air.

Honestly here in the US just to get a glimpse of KS in concert or even watch and old Eddie Jobson video was a dream even back in the 1980s with VH-1 and Night Flight.

The fact that some people were able to record the videos on VHS and now share them has been a heartfelt celebration to those interested in such a small genre of music.

Its sad when the hypocracy arises when it comes to sharing something that no one not even the labels cared about for years like video clips. + their poor quality anyway.

As far as labels are concerned you have a point. I dont feel the need to sign anymore cd's over the to people who want to control my artistic and financial freedoms as an em artist + most of the labels are gone and the ones that remain are run by bitter/rude people.

Im still glad KS is making such fine music, I cant say the same for Edgar tho!

Regards,

Gregory
