Looking for rare Vangelis album

Hi everybody,

A few weeks ago, I rediscovered an old tape in my attic that has an old and very rare (so I found out on the www) Vangelis album on it that I borrowed from a library a long time ago. Unfortunately, the tape has become unplayable.

The album is more like a sound collage, and is about the student uproar in Paris in 1968. It is called [i]Fais Que Ton R

No, I haven't...

...But, sorry to take a chance on your post to ask
If you or someone has heard "Hypothesis"

When I had "The Dragon",
It was a very weird album to me,
Not good, Not Bad... just weird,

And I Never knew anyone who could have Hypothesis...
Is it electronic?,
Or something like The Dragon?
In other words... is it worth to get it now?

Greetings!!!

I bought The Dragon and Hypothesis unheard on vinyl a long time ago. It was awful. Not the beautiful EM I expected, rather some free jazz that V did at that time. I threw them away.

Your description matches the Dragon,

but also Hypothesis?
The cover Art is Fantastic!

BTW
I think "stuffed Aubergine" is a Great track from the Dragon,
Hope you get a chance to listen again...

What I never heard of is:

I have Hypothesis, and it is most definitely in the free jazz vein - which for me is not a bad thing (I like this album quite a lot in fact).

I have both Hypothesis and The Dragon (on vinyl and on CD).

Hypothesis is a wierd piece of music, and I don't play it very often. I really have to look like my avatar to fully appreciate it.

The Dragon, on the other hand, is much more accessible. It has a rather large dash of folk, and some sounds that reappear on Earth.

I like both, but The Dragon definitely gets more playtime in my house...
