One of those bands that defined the genre.

Here's a clip with a Jan Hammer solo on the Moog, because there were some strange noises coming out of his Rhodes. He looked very annoyed

I still listen to Meeting of the Spirits from The Inner Mounting Flame album on occasion.

Ariel's a fine effort, and there's awesome music on On the Future of Aviation as well. There's also the Jerry Goodman/Jan Hammer collaboration album "Like Children," which sounds interesting, if you're into the genre...

I always feel like a heretic as I prefer "Visions of the Emerald Beyond" to "Birds of Fire".

Birds of Fire just brings up the 'I like it, I like it. I promise I'll like it!' -reaction.
