Dear friends,
this album was recorderd within 35 hours prior to its release - because I felt that I had not done a lot so far in 2025 and had thought it would be nice to offer something new on that particular Bandcamp Friday (...yesterday, while I'm typing this).
I was not sure if I would be able to make it, but gave it a try anway, and I have to say that given the cirumstances, it turned out rather nicely.
In order to be able to create quickly, I usually self-limit the range of what I could do, the instruments I use and techniques I employ beforehand, and in this case the plan was to use only arpeggiators to create the music (which are divices that transform chords you play on a keyboard into rhythmic patterns of - mostly - single notes).
Hence the title ...
...and NOT - (as one gentleman has supposed) because I used ARP synthesizers. I'm mentioning this because I realised in hindsight that the title could suggest that. Well, I'd love to work with ARP synths, which are classics and in the same league than Moogs and Buchlas, but unfortunately couldn't afford one.
