Earlier this month I released a new solo album, the next entry in my "Drones, Atmospheres and Dreamscapes" series.
It contains two extended, immersive tracks that I previously had presented on my YouTube channel, plus one new track which is a version of the traditional English carol "To Drive The Cold Winter Away" (...some of You might be familiar with Loreena McKennits beautiful rendition of that song), but because I gave it the full ambient / space music treatment, you'd probably not recognize it if you don't listen really closely (...but it's really all in there).
The two long tracks have rather different moods, each inspired by different aspects of winter.
To quote my own liner notes:
"Sometimes the world seems like a very cold place, all dark and our soul feels frozen with worry and fear, but even in deepest winter there are bright sunny days, sending us an inkling of the return of a fuller and more happy life - and this is what this album is about..."
