It was material normally only available as The Basement Tape cassette. I think there was an Eclipse MC released eventually that also sported these tracks instead of those featured on the original LP.
There were no tapes to be found containing the original B Side songs of the Eclipse album -- just tape storage boxes with titles scribbled out.

When extracted from the CD releases, there should be no audible difference.
Funnilys enough, the Prisms tapes had a different playing order of the tracks, some tracks were not used for the LP (or the other way round), and the LP was cut too slow (about one minor sceond lower in pitch). Quite why that was I have no clue (maybe at roughly 28 minutes altogether, the playing time was a tad too short for the record company, who knows). The master tapes sound so much better as it's a fresh and upbeat album, not that slow drag that was released as LP over here (at least, I have never had the opportunity to compare European and American vinyl pressing with each other).

Mmm listening to the song "Release" from the Images album I can hear some 'Wow and Flutter' which is not present on my FLAC files (which I copied from the CD). Strange....
Possibly lifted from vinyl. I had the idea there was some serious distortion audible in Point Of Impact (the guiro sound in particular). I think I'll rather listen to my own rendition, created from several unplayed album copies on vinyl.
