I read the news of several sites. I see Minimoog Model D in production again? Also a Synclavier VST ??

I hope the Synclavier VST will also have an adjustable MBF rate (meantime between failures) for authenticity's sake.

A great instrument -- especially the early ones with FM and very raw-sounding sampling -- but a pain in the arse to use. They were obviously riding the edge of technology back then.

An MTBF control begs the inclusion of a MTTR too

There are "ROMplers" with the Synclavier & Fairlight libraries which is amusing considering the sound is a recording of a processed recording but what I heard sounded as good as the original (copy)

As a long time Arturia products user, started with Collection 1, I got an email of V-Collection 5 yesterday. I will definitely update soon.

Maybe it will work out one day; at the moment, things look a bit brighter - however, before buying new synths, I rather need more basic synths first: a good microphone, a better mixer, new laptop, better sound card, up-to-date software, etc.

I have to confess though that it was a lot of fun to try Fryderyk Jona's Moog Voyager a while ago. I might be tempted...
