There will be a new studio album by Klaus Schulze called SILHOUETTES released in late 2015...

...at least that's what the SPV label told me today... :D

Evidence came from our man Jeffrey in Hongkong, finding an entry on japanese AMAZON... 8)

Interesting! Here's a link to Amazon.de: http://www.amazon.de/dp/B00TKNQVLA/ It says March 31 already? Must be a mistake. The same item is on UK, US, and JP Amazons, too. And there's still the third volume of Big in Europe.

KDM was asked the question on his blog and seemed caught by surprise knowing nothing about, then carrying on about how the web is full of (mis)information and KS did not mention anything about it in their phone conversation 2 days ago, and, that he's working with SPV on the LVE 16 release, no new album whatsoever.

Time will tell, but could KDM be more and more out of the loop handling legacy material and reissues while new ones sneak through past him?

I've seen KDM's statement, and I also did chat a little privately with my old friend The Bishop (...who I basically have full trust in 😉 however I found this special news hard to believe).

Indeed SPV (if they didn't plainly lie) seems to plan to release a * new * KS album ("new" like in "new music" = NO archive release) towards the end of 2015. (March however, like announced on some pages, is nonsense...).

So, I guess sooner or later we will hear "officially" from the label.

And yes, it seems that KDM is not as involved in new releases anymore than he used to be...

I, for one, would be happy to see Klaus working on (and releasing) new material - not only because of the resulting music as such, but because that would mean he's doing well enough to do it...

Fully agree, I would welcome any studio album for the same reasons & as a bonus the music might be good too :D

We have no idea what KS is playing, if anything at all, last we know was his collaborations with Lisa Gerrard back in 2009 followed by a handful of concerts.

He stated he'd like to continue the collaboration with LG which did not happen and after so many years I hope he returns a solo release.

Speculating now, the title sounds appropriate for a KS album 👍 but I wonder why it popped up on several amazon sites so early with no release date, no track details, no cover art...
amazon would not make such things up, they act on information received from the record label so it's still possible for the listing to be removed.

The title sounds similar to Shadowlands, which I enjoyed.
