Bonjour, Hi to all!

I'm happy to meet up with old friends and make new ones, to discover new music to listen to and to share my solo music and Lightwave's music with you...

I'm one of the founding members of the French band Lightwave, which has been pursuing its musical path since the 90s, between dark ambient and sonic experimentation. We've collaborated with Paul Haslinger, Hector Zazou, Michel Redolfi, Jon Hassell...

We've produced records for Erdenklang, Hearts of Space/Fathom and Signatures/Radio France, among others.

My solo music tends towards a certain form of minimalism, between slow, immersive soundscapes and what Stephen Hill (Hearts of Space) describes as “atmospheric classical”.

I release my music on Bandcamp and all platforms, as well as on labels such as Disco Gecko Recordings, Shimmering Moods, Driftworks and Whitelabrecs.

I have several new projects to come!

Bonsoir, Christian!

Very nice to meet You here. :-) Lightwave was one of the first (and actually also one of the best) electronic music "acts" I got to know when I started using the internet, I guess back in 2006 - on MySpace, Your then current album was "Bleue comme une orange". At the time, I wasn't aware that people like Paul Haslinger and Jon Hassell were involved. I always especially loved the cello on that album (I'm a sucker for cello...).

Later, I met Serge Leroy and we exchanged messages quite frequently for a couple of years...

It's great that You're still active, or even more active than ever, it seems! :-)

Guten Tag, dear Michael!

Thank you very much for your kind words!

"Bleue comme une orange" was a beautiful project... You know probably that the title of the album is a quote from a poem by French poet Paul Eluard... We had to pay a little amount of money to the French publisher Gallimard in order to use this quote as a title of our album!

Paul Haslinger organized the recording session with Jon Hassell at his studio, in LA...

Having Jon's contibution was a dream for me, since I was (and I still am) a huge fan of him... And we were lucky, later, to spend a whole week of rehearsals with him and to play a concert together at the Maison de la Radio in Paris.

Thanks again for your kind words, you are an important musician of the European electronic scene, and your kind support is really meaningful for us...
