He is also one of those "unavoidable" entities in the Scandinavian modern jazz scene. He did some excellent stuff (solo and contributing), but some very quirky and cheesy solo stuff as well. His influences to the "inner circle" of Scandinavian jazz (and related releases, like the extremely excellent Digital Prophecy by Oud-player/singer Dhafer Youssef) are usually quite good.
