(...) I listened to Heaven and Hell last night. Not bad. But its pretty typical of alot of New Age EM. It has a certain amount of "deepness" to it. (...) p.s. New Age elements in music can give the music a deeper meaning which adds to the overall sound. (...)
Thank You, Dave

I agree to the New Age influence - still, to my taste it stays on the "deeper" side of that rather than on the "kitsch" side. Cineastic - yes, that put's it well, I think.
I'm certainly a friend of "good" New Age, however You like to define that. A lot of the work of Peter Michael Hamel belongs to that category, and parts of Deuter's music, and Andreas Vollenweider (which - of course - is not EM at all and therefore is out of place in this forum; still it's great music and an excellent example of how to balance deepness and lightness and charge it with spirituality without ever turning painful...in my book, at least...). Oh yes, and this Software album comes close to that quality as well in places...
