I guess it must be a nightmare to program... entering columns after columns of binary codes... making music has never been easier than this :) ...

I find multitracking a double edged sword. Straight to DAT is exciting in some ways as you capture a performance, but I do like revisiting songs and if it's all in the computer, it's easier.
Sonically though, I just spent money on some SSL converters and am finally happy with digital recording..

Back to the PPG. For such a rare piece, I don't think it was so expensive in the end.
