This is probably more of personal inquiry than anything else, but I was FB friends with Paul for a long time as well as on many ancient email lists (back when those were a thing). I know he took a hiatus from making e-music after his studio burned down and was going to follow a more acoustic future in making music. But about six months or so, all communication ceased. I may have offended him inadvertently with what I thought was just a lighthearted post and if so, I deeply regret that. My main concern is that he is OK and well. Does anyone know? Thanks.

Thanks for that. I also saw where he has started making electronic music again and I have snagged it from Bandcamp. It's classic Paul Ellis!

Don't think so. According to him, "Now Then" is material recently found on an old PC hard disk, it's in fact music composed and recorded about ten years ago that he thought was lost.

Remember his home studio burned some years ago and he decided not to rebuild it.

Yes, while this is an older recording, according to his Bandcamp page, he has decided to re-enter the world of electronic music. Losses aren't always permanent and things that have been destroyed can be restored or rebuilt. I'm glad he has decided to continue making great space music.
