His keyboards on Rainbow Rising made it a classic . I love the intro to Tarot Woman. One word Stunning. I believe he's now with Deep Purple.

Excellent indeed, but wasn't it Tony Carey on keyboards ? Airey didn't join til quite a bit later. Without checking I don't think the earlier keyboard players lasted more than an album each.

Youre all right. Wasn't Don Airey first Rainbow album 'Down to Earth' It's not a lot of folks fave but Eyes of the World is one ot their best songs. Or maybe it was 'Long Live Rock n' Roll'. I'm too lazy to go and check.

I first heard of Rainbow by "Difficult to cure" I heard the title track on some radio show and inmediately went to buy the LP.

I couldn't stop listening for months, and to date I can say I have heard all of their albums...

But actually I only Have the "Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow" CD, and the Rainbow Live in Munich, DVD...

But as years roll by, The list of "Must Have (again)" grows up beyond my mortal capabilities! (Time -basically-, and money) 😉
