Jerome Froese shared this via FB, a feature / docu entitled "Kosmische Klänge - 50 Jahre Tangerine Dream" ("Cosmic Sounds - 50 years of TD").

Seems nice and interesting (obviously, it's in German

) Contains an interview (about TD) with Winfried Trenkler, btw.

Not much news actually.

I wish they'd rather focus on getting the Froese book out after more than three years of empty promises. This is just another bit of free radio promotion through public media channels.

Perhaps not many news for many here (true...), but still nice for radio listeners who are still uninitiated, I think.

And it's, in a generic way, it's also free radio promotion for younger musicians who sound like TD today (looking at no one in particular...)

The uninitiated wouldn't care anyway -- they haven't cared for the past 50 years, and there's a fair chance this won't change in the future either.

There's not much twerking in Tangerine Dream from what I can tell so nothing of appeal to the young crowd.
