Hey gang, I have done a series of record label interviews and there's a new one up now, the first in the 2009 batch. This time you can get to know the Russian ambient label Faria better, a label which is run out of St. Petersburg by Andrey Sadovnikov. Faria was founded in 2005 and already 25 albums of mainly ambient and drone music have been released.

Faria is also the home of Andrey's own recordings as Faryus, for example Zerkalo which was released with Robert Rich.

We all know Ian Boddy and his music, but how well do you know his record label, DiN?

This month, DiN (which releases both Boddy's albums and other artists) celebrates its 10th anniversary and we decided it would be a good time to talk to label founder and recording artist Ian Boddy. For the occasion we also reviewed the first two albums released on DiN in 1999; Ian Boddy's own Box of Secrets (DiN1) and Ian Boddy & Markus Reuter's Distant Rituals (DiN2).
